Veensee for Claude

Let Claude use your Mac.

The Veensee extension for Claude Desktop lets Claude see your Mac's screen and use its mouse and keyboard, through the Screen Sharing built into macOS. Claude takes a screenshot, clicks, scrolls, drags, types or presses a shortcut, then takes another screenshot to check. It's a separate program for the Mac, included with Veensee Unlimited.

You need Claude Desktop on a Mac with macOS 13 or later, and Screen Sharing turned on on the Mac Claude will control (it can be the same Mac).

Up to 5 downloads per purchase. The purchase’s transaction ID works too.

Where's my order number?

It's the Order ID in the email “Your receipt from Apple” that Apple sent you when you bought Veensee Unlimited. It looks like MKT1A2B3C4.

Install it

  1. Double-click the downloaded .mcpb file. Claude Desktop opens it: click Install.
  2. In the extension's settings, set Mac to control: 127.0.0.1 is the Mac running Claude, or enter another Mac's address on your network. Add the macOS user name and password of an account allowed in Screen Sharing; Claude Desktop stores the password securely.
  3. On the Mac to control, turn on Screen Sharing: System Settings → General → Sharing → Screen Sharing.
  4. In a new chat, ask Claude: “Take a screenshot of my Mac.”

Good to know

  • The extension talks only to the Mac you set, over your own network. Screenshots go to Claude as part of your conversation, like any image you attach.
  • While Claude is connected, macOS shows that your screen is being controlled. The extension disconnects after 5 minutes without use.
  • If Claude controls the Mac you're working on, its clicks and keystrokes compete with yours.
  • We check your order number with Apple and keep only an anonymous download counter per purchase. No cookies. Privacy
